A Gamut of Poesy II

Let’s go over two less-known types of poetry: bios and canzones. Bios are poems centralized around the idea that your personal bio should be accentuated in a classic format. It’s “all about you”, exposing your natural characteristics and organic life.

A canzone is a variety of lyric poetry in the Italian style, of Provençal origin, that closely resembles the madrigal, taken from dictionary.com. You write it in the way that brings out the format of each word that appears at the end of a line of the first stanza repeats at the end of one of the lines in the following stanzas.
