I’ve found several excerpts and quotes that provide inspiration for me to write. They come from acclaimed litterateurs, some come from elder bards, a few come from rising authors, and others come from r/writing on Reddit. Disregarding the source, each one is heartfelt and has an aspect of ingenuity whereas some have morose themes and intensity in its depiction.
“This is how you do it: you sit down at the keyboard and you put one word after another until it’s done. It’s that easy, and that hard.” – Neil Gaiman
“The mind of a writer can be a truly terrifying thing. Isolated, neurotic, caffeine-addled, crippled by procrastination, consumed by feelings of panic, self-loathing, and soul-crushing inadequacy. And that’s on a good day.” – Robert De Niro
“I can shake off everything as I write; my sorrows disappear, my courage is reborn.” – Anne Frank
“I write to give myself strength. I write to be the characters that I am not. I write to explore all the things I’m afraid of.” – Joss Whedon
Other quotes shall be uploaded in the future!
